kobe is an all-time great but I'm never taking kobe over bird. Bird was a better passer rebounder and shooter. Not to mention he was more clutch than kobe. in the biggest games kobe shot the ball terrible bird stood up in those same games. bird as a rookie led his team. kobe was the 2nd best player on his own team for nearly half his career. if we're just talking about talent then yeah... Kobe easily top 3 but it's not just talent it's about their careers, resume, stats. all the above. I do have him better than Russell tho.

He was a great player. Just not top 5. I can’t put him over Bron or Kareem. Not sure we can put him over Magic or Bird but there’s an argument I guess. Then there’s Shaq. I just don’t think it’s clear cut. Kobe is top 10 but hard to say he’s top 5 for sure. Butttttt we could make an argument that he’s better than Mike.

love Kobe…but that Mamba mentality pushes him up higher in the rankings than what he should be. From a skill standpoint, his best skill is that he’s a tough shot maker…as in he shoots a lot of bad shots repeatedly until they drop cause of his ego. For me, he’s not considered one of the best all time in any basketball skill outside of that. Kobe mentality make him cold asf fashoo….top 3-5 ion know
