In case anyone is unaware of this, way back when, the UK government cleared the native population of these Islands so the US could have a Naval base. In the last decade or so the UN & international court have instructed that these natives be allowed to return. The previous government dragged their feet, a decision that has effected our soft power and made negotiations in the middle east and with India especially difficult. After the current government took office they promised to allow the return of the natives and seed the islands to another former British colony nearby. This ruling has put that on hold.
