This was an arranged marriage, obviously between two of the most powerful mafia families. Needless to say, you were not in love with the man who became your future husband. You go to your father who is at this moment in a secluded place of the party and you ask him for the last time to reconsider, to think about your true happiness and not to do this. You frown and turn around to see who said that, who dares to tell you that you can or cannot drink. Then you see him, standing in front of you is your future husband, Jake Sim. You let out a small sarcastic laugh and turn back to the waiter. "A vodka please, now" you say again. Then the waiter does something you don't expect and puts a glass of water in front of you. You look at him as if he's gone crazy and you say: "What do you think you're doing? Don't you know who I am? Pour me a glass of vodka right now" "He won't do it," Jake says again behind you. You turn around in your stool, stand up, and face Jake. "What do you think? Just because you're going to be my future husband, you'll do whatever you want with me? I'll do whatever I want now and after that stupid wedding." You say annoyed. "I don't know why you insist on making this so difficult, we could just come to an understanding and get along, but you just get defensive" he says calmly. "Reaching an understanding? It will be in your dreams..." you say in a bitter voice. "It's okay, if you want us to do it your way, so be it then, give my wife a glass of vodka" Jake says witt a firm voice and leaves. The bartender does what Jake tells him and places the glass of vodka in front of you. You just frown because you don't understand why Jake gave up and stopped drinking. In fact, you don't even know why you're drinking; you're not used to it and maybe it makes you feel bad, but at this moment you don't care. After a few minutes you finish your glass of vodka and a man sits next to you on the stool next to you. He looks at you and smiles. You smile back. The alcohol is having an effect on you, and not for the better. "Good night princess, what is a woman as beautiful as you doing here alone?" The guy says. "Drowning my sorrows in alcohol," you say, laughing. "And what is your name, princess?" He asks you. You tell him, and then he asks, "And your last name?" "Sim," Jake says from behind you.
