It’s a una-goose ball. Has safety chain mount with its. Out of business I believe and almost impossible to find a replacement. Could probably have one made on a lathe but would probably be better off replacing whole hitch with B&w or something.

It’s called a unigoose the safety chain bracket hooks around the ball. I’ll copy a link for it below used to have it in my 2002 Silverado.
