Little hack. I take Vyvanse/dex and struggle to sleep because of it. If you take vitamin C a few hours before sleep. It'll reduce the residual stimulant still in your system so you can sleep.

Also protein for breakfast and be sure to eat said breakfast within half an hour of taking your meds, it'll make it last longer and the protein helps :) also why TF do people on ADHD meds still drink coffee while on them?!? that will get you a heart attack early on in life

more tips: you need more protein when on stimulant meds. for women, your cycle can affect how effective the meds are, if you feel like theres weeks where it just doesnt work, it might be because of that, google for research and talk to your doc

Just saying you shouldn’t be dividing vyvance as it’s a long acting drug and should last you the whole day if you want to have an adhd med through the day at different points you should be on a short acting one like Ritalin because when you divide some capsule medications the drug isn’t as effective and looses have of it power I guess

my doctor prescribed me concerta which is time release which is why it's very expensive (it's patented) 🙈 I asked her about changing to another and she said with the amount I'd need It might cost more?
