I used to take my 13 year old rottweiler lab mix to the dog park, we did this for 13 years and had a group of friends. He really enjoyed it. After he passed away, I got a lab/pit mix, I took her to the dog park where she occasionally was overstimulated and would go after another small dog. She never caused damage or an injury but I came to the conclusion that I was helping her corn a new habit and that habit was to attack other dogs. We no longer go.
