All right here's my point of view yes Nani did go to college to study marine biology but it's not like she left lilo to the state she left lilo to her boyfriend and his grandmother which was a part of their Ohana and also at the end of the movie they're back in their old house which is now rebuilt and Nani can travel back and forth therefore I felt like not even give up Lilo she just went to another room lol

SPOILERS: This film is literally a completely different movie. Literally so many things. How pudge the fishes sandwich wasn’t even a peanut butter sandwich. Nani was made to seem like she didn’t even care about raising her sister. (Didn’t even show up to the recital or the animal shelter). And the completely different ending as well lol how can they even remain true to the sequels if jumba didn’t even stay on Earth💀and then he ends up being the main villain??no gantu? Like all they had to do was just remake a live version of the cartoon lol not a completely new movie. Also the soundtrack was aweful. Only 2 good songs. Like there was no sad music in the background like with the ugly duckling scene in the cartoon. Not even an ugly ducking scene in the movie lol
