They have to renew the work permit every 6 month and they also take 6 months processing the renewal so by the time they get it is already expired.

I waited 11 years for only son I have for green card and cost me 9 thousand dollars. He waited patiently and American embassy called him and he received the green card an after that he arrived in America. This should be the way for everybody. Background was checked from head to toe

My husband is from Venezuela. Took 16 months to be granted legal entry. $675 for the I30, $475 for the work permit, $500 for a doctor and vaccinations, $1440 for the I485 (green card). It’s not cheap to enter legally, but it also cost me about $3k by the time I got my retirement visa to enter Colombia. Countries have laws and fees. Not just the U.S.

I applied for my work authorization card since January, 5 months after it’s still pending ,that’s mean I’ll have to waste 500$ every 6 months,crazy
