We met at 17 & 20 but waited 6+ years to get married. We definitely needed to wait to get married but we lived like we were married (joint bank accounts & mortgages). It’s been 25+ years & it’s worked out well but def trial & error.

Been married 41yrs. He was 22 and I was 21. Totally agree. I strongly advise against getting married so young. There’s a lot of life that needs to be lived and growing up that needs to happen before you walk down the aisle.

I was married at 20 my husband at 23. We will be married 40 years this October! You are right it has been hard at times, but know who you are marrying! We were together for 1 1/2 years before we got married! Not lucky, lots of hard work & love! ❤️
