If you often catch yourself saying you want to go home even when you are already at home, or if that feeling started when you were young and never really faded, it can point to a deeper emotional pattern. For me, it shows up through BPD. If any of this feels familiar, it might be worth reading more about it or talking to someone who understands these things well.

I was raised in a region where my parents moved right before my birth, coming from a completely different region, grew up in a whole other region, studied in another one, lived alone in several different countries. The elusive feeling of homesickness for a place that doesn't exist, is such a beautiful way to phrase this.

Oh how sickly it feels when your home country isnt civilised and full of poverty so i cant even go there and feel at home because its just downgrading my life. But at the same time the country im living in has none of my culture. i guess i am meant to belong no where.
