All the endings from 2077 should be “rumors” about how or why V disappeared. Nobody really knows what happened to them or if they’re alive or not. Not even their gender is known for certain. Some people might not even believe V’s real. Only people really close like Vik, panam, Judy etc would really know what happened.

There's a good Cyberpunk RED campaign ran on a podcast where they play with the idea of cyberpunk in Dallas. Not an official campaign but it shows how you can go in cool directions with the universe. Cyberpunk lore wise is centered in night city so it's hard to say what the new city would be. But I'm excited to see any new dives into the lore with new cities, locations, and gangs. But also imo thematically and story wise I think V is in a perfect place and we should delve into new protagonists.

cyberpunk It's overrated, you can't do anything about it, it's really frustrating to see all the possibilities that could have been there vanish because of the laziness of the developers.
