I’m pan. Bisexual is a COMPLETELY different thing. Pansexual is regardless off gender, not preference. Bisexual is two or more genders, with preference.

I am pan and I do not consider bi and pan the same. I consider pan a subcategory of bi, but not all bi people are pan. Similar to how all tigers are big cats, but not all big cats are tigers.

pan and bi are the same, but pansexual is more inclusive wording, while the word bisexual only indicates 2 genders. so the term bisexual should ultimately be replaced by pansexual as a way to be more up to date with the modern knowledge that gender isn't binary.

I liked this video until the "pan and bi is the same". Even if these differences are minor, they matter to some people. Even if to you pan the same thing as bi, it's an identity that matters to people and you shouldn't be looked down upon.

THEY ARENT THE SAME! BISEXUAL means being attracted to one or more genders. The genders are still a factor in their head. PANSEXUAL means You don’t think about gender as a factor, you like people, not genitals.
