How is this making more US jobs? Either Walmart eats the tariffs (meaning their revenues goes down) of the consumer pays higher prices… Walmart may have to reduce number of employees.

The trade balance between the EU and the US is around 4% as was set years ago in the trade agreement. But there is the trade in goods and there is the trade in services, and Trump conveniently leaves out the trade in services and also releases a crazy self-invented formula on the trade in goods. So yes, some goods are higher, but that is only a tiny fraction of the whole. Trump is simply fooling the whole lot.
