she put him on his stomach, covered him with a 29 lb weighed blanket, supposedly put her legs over him.... then at 2ish left work like a normal day. no other workers even checked in him and he was in a hallway.

As a preschool assistant, we have some kids who don’t fall asleep by themselves. We support with back rubs but if a child doesn’t fall asleep you can’t force them to!! This story makes me MAD.

Instead of putting camera on our freeways how about we normalize every inch of daycares being covered in cameras and monitoring by an outside security team. Keep our kids safe. This is horrific

to think this is where I grew up is DISGUSTING! beyond disappointed in the PD in that town, we pray for this family everyday to get the justice they deserve. There’s so much more to this story it’s GUT WRENCHING & Blood boiling!

That's so sad I'm so afraid to send my 7m old to daycare so we're struggling with bills but it's better than suffering from dealing with your child's death 💔 No child or mother should go through that pain. Childcare workers should be vetted not some random off of the street.

My daughter told me that two teachers used to do this to her and other kids. Lie on them to subdue them. State law requires daycare kids to sleep 30 minutes per day.

I would think they have alternative activities for kids who won’t go to sleep. If they’re not tired and they can’t sleep, they can’t sleep. They can’t force them to go to sleep. Such a sad sad story.
