My mom ended up in the ER twice this past March. The 2nd trip to the ER doc said they thought she had NPH. She can’t get in to see a neurologist until OCTOBER. She’s now in a memory care facility. Rich privilege is real.

My good friend had hydrocephalus, and lived well with for five years after diagnosis, before having a seizure last July, and passing away on April 28.

My son had congenital hydrocephalus. Last year we found out his shunt was broken. Dr said since he’s not symptomatic, it must have somehow resolved. He’s 26. Prayers for all who deal with it.

Face it folks. America’s FOR PROFIT healthcare system is awful. We’ve been calling for a national option for decades, but no, Americans were terrified by the world “socialized” medicine. Well, Medicare is socialized and it’s been awesome. Now the GOP wants to totally privatize that! Advantage plans are the worse privatized plans. Well, why wouldn’t they be?
