So I’m using medik8 20 I worked my way up .. I’ve been prescribed tretinoin 0.5 but I’m aware it’s going to be a journey so not prepared yet 😂

Ugh epiduo (differin) CHANGED my skin. Suited me way better than tretinoin and trifarotene which ruined my skin. Adapalene is more gentle

Esthetician here! For sensitive skin, retinol wouldn’t be the first retinoid I’d advice. Granactive retinoid (also called Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate) is an ester of retinoic acid (pure vitamine A) and is very mild. Try this if a low % of retinol is too strong for you.

I’m so confused on how I should introduce a retinol with my current skincare routine. I’ve just fully implemented acelaic acid, and it’s wonderful for my skin. Should I stop using it to introduce a retinol? Or is it still okay to use it fewer times a week while I’m introducing retinol?

Is it true it can take up to 6 months to see results with differin? I started in March and I’m still purging but soldiering through. Mainly have a lot of texture under both corners of my mouth and some deep spots around my cheeks/jawline
