Mydei wanted to die by phainon,the man he trusted the most.,but ended up dying by flame reaver,whose name was leaked to be khaslana,aka kaslana,aka kevin kaslana,aka the the expy and variant for phainon,which means mydei died brutaly without knowing the person he longed to die by was the one who betrayed him and did so,become the dawn,the Dawn represent renewal, new begginings and eviction of darkness to start a new bright story,which means he trusts phainon to be the symbole of peace,new beggining for already sorrowful people,he trust the fact phainon will evict the darkness in people's souls.

well..I once saw someone say that Mydei has no weak points and only lied to Phainon and when mydei dies he will pass through the ocean of souls and come back to life...BUT when the Flame Reaver killed him he didn't come back to life😭😭😭

what if it the flame reaver was phainon I mean the Fr is so obsessed with the cfs as same as how phainon was obsessed with retrieving all the cfs. from all the voicelines of the flame reaver he always mention the word repeat and cycle which means before we rewrote the memory that fuli presented us it was a repeating cycle in which they failed to always complete every thing because of the flame reaver. so if the cycle was always repeat in failure the events keep happening and happening until phainon gets swallowed by the black tide and then repeats the killing to take all the cfs and fix it himself. I had this theory because of how similar the flame reaver is to phainon. phainon failing to become the dawn which results in flame reaver and the sword that the flame reaver is holding represents the night/dark while phainon's sword represents the dawn. I can't continue this theory because it might be true because some of my speculations came true😭

After Penacony, I felt like the main story was missing tension and consequences. Idk, I just couldn’t get into it. Just caught up with the newest mission and I would like to go back to Penacony plz.
