The way some people were talking about them I could have sworn it was a one sided thing. However, I tuned in and that is NOT the case. If there is a season 2 it’s clear they are setting up the love triangle to be between Caitlyn, Kiara, and curt. That’s why they made sure to have that scene between Caitlyn and her mom in the fair when she tells her to be careful, but not for her sake but for Kiara’s. It insinuated to me that Caitlyn has been caught between love interests in the past most likely a boy and a girl back in New York that didn’t end well. Plus all the innuendoes about Caitlyn sexuality mentioned as well… it is clear this will play a part in the obvious slow burn they are building with these two… I just hope they develop more of their dynamic like they did with her and curt if there is a season 2.

I think that Caitlyn was essential for Kiara’s coming out journey (understanding and accepting that she likes girls), but I don’t think they’ll end up together. They’ll add for sure someone for her too
