It's so sad because I understand both of their perspectives. Kiki had no power or security without Peter so she had to fire Simone who she thought was a threat to her. Simone went into survival mode as soon as she realised she'd have to take care of the man that severely traumatized her and so she did what so could to make sure that didn't happen. It's sucks that a man ruined the wonderful friendship between these two women☹️

I think both women were just trying to protect themself and be safe. Kiki by firing Simone who she thought was a threat to her marriage. And Simone by coming back and taking kikis place cause going back to her dad was just worse.
