@atarabyte: What have you learned or accomplished that you're proud of? Most days, I feel like I'm not doing enough, and I should be doing a lot more, but I try to do at least one thing towards my goals every day! Even if it's small, especially if it's small! I think one of my biggest accomplishments in life was moving myself to South Korea! My family doesn't have a lot of money and lives paycheck to paycheck, I also was living paycheck to paycheck when I decided I wanted to leave my small town of Utah and live in South Korea! I got extra jobs and worked more hours. I think the most jobs I had at one time was 5 different jobs, I had a job at a distribution center, I worked a job restocking stores in the mall, I had a job at a sushi restaurant, I worked at Gamestop and I had a job setting up retail store marketing displays! 😅 it was a lot of work, and it was miserable, but I worked every day for a year to save up $20,000 (that's the amount you need to get a student visa in South Korea) and I moved to Korea! Even though it was my biggest goal at that time after a few months, I realized I had no friends, no family, and I was completely alone. It was really hard at first, but after starting Korean Language School, I finally started making friends, and it made everything so much better. I think by achieving that goal, I learned that day by day, life doesn't change much, but in a year, it can change dramatically, and over a longer period of time, life is more malleable to bend to your will.
