I think a brand being honest is refreshing. I do watch her interviews regularly and he’s more open than other people. Also his prison story is just factually interesting. Lots of people didn’t know. She IS very smart. Also her audience is black, at least in TikTok and in the comments. Do you normally align with black TikTok?

He’s an old school NY guy. I can see why people would see it as gruff. It’s def a NY thing and she is used to that part of the culture it which is why she isn’t affected and carried on the interview beautifully.

Personally, I don’t really get it here. But here’s my summary. 1. It’s her, she’s a phenomenal interviewer. 2. People crave authenticity from brands and their leadership and that’s what this gave: unscripted (felt like it), raw and real conversation. That’s what people want and they got it. They don’t really care too much about the answers tbh.
