As men we ARE the example. We are the head, the leader, the provider, the protector. … we should be at least. Yet if you look around can’t lead themselves let alone their family. They think that paying rent is “leadership” without realizing that that’s only “providership”. Providing ≠ leading. So let me ask you this… If spending $$$ on your family is the only value that you bring what kind of example are you? You see as a man there’s many facets of leadership. Being the rock, being the head of the house, being the man that your wife trusts to make decisions confidently, being the man that your kids look up to because they want to out of genuine respect not because they have to because you’re “the dad”. My dad was the same. He CRUSHED it at providing but I had to learn from coaches, mentors, pain, adversity, and life lessons on what it meant to be a real, true leader. It’s not your fault that you haven’t became the leader everyone needs in your house because 99% of society says “you pay the bills that’s good enough.” If that were true do you really think divorce rates would be 41% and do you think that 66% of those divorces that were initiated by women would be that high if men actually led the house and made their women feel safe mentally, emotionally and THEN financially? It’s time to step up and be the LEADER and build yourself into a man that your family can look up to instead of just an ATM. It all starts with your personal development.
