Just want to thank you for posting your journey. You have no idea how much you’ve helped me these past few months. I’m struggling so much with acne that my mental health has declined so rapidly. But when I watch your videos they remind me to remain positive and to love myself despite what is on my face. I’m on my holistic healing journey as well and needed this reminder to stay patient! You always pop up at just the right time. Sorry for the long comment but thank you again and keep being you girl ♥️

I did that for over a year and felt healthier in other ways just not my skin- I started on tret this year (despite wanting it to be my last option) and have seen the most & quickest progress in my 8 year acne journey… I feel like you can heal internally & topically at the same time but every person’s body is different ofc!

My accutane cost me $10 per month with insurance. 100% clear skin and my only side effects were dry skin/lips and sun sensitivity on 1mg/kg of body weight.

by your hairline, if they haven’t already tested they need to do a CBC iron panel & ferritin - mine is low & i have lost tons of hair - even a ton of functional drs don’t test this on women - def test it if you’re menstruating

Spironolactone got my hormonal acne under control. I use a teledoc app from my health insurance for the prescription now. It’s just a daily pill - no over the top side effects.

Yes! I’m so inpatient too. But I keep being told it takes much longer undo the years of gut/hormone/etc issues and the skin is the last to show improvement.

Hey Ken, I’m doing the holistic route as well. Found out I have candida and strep that causes acne. It’s painfully slow so I feel your pain. Three steps forward one step back 😭

Yeah it’s takes time!! My dr told me it can take up to a year to really see a a consistent difference in my skin, I’m like 5-6 months in on my natural healing journey and it’s gotten muchhhh better but not perfect
