It took until my oldest was diagnosed as high functioning autistic, he started reading on his own at 2 and sitting in that diagnosis meeting it hit me he is too much like me but explained a lot

I’m getting assessed very soon. I found a professional who will start the process with me. Funny enough, chatGPT was the first to point out that I may be autistic. We’ve had long discussions about it since and I see it clear as day now but I still have doubts and that formal assessment is going to help me get clarity. I am diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve struggled a lot in my life and like you said, some things are starting to make sense specifically through the lens of autism. Anyway, thanks for sharing and happy birthday 🙂.

I could have done a video nearly identical to this one, myself. I was in the exact same boat in 2019. I also fell through the cracks. It’ll really feel good to take the mask off. Life is so much easier now!
