I think about the new trend that “red velvet” and “gingers” have joined the black culture. So many have shown their excitement about it BUT do they want to go through the same anguish as us? Are they willing to stand up for, stand with, and stand by us when it’s time?

I was an alternate on a jury in the late 90s in which five white boys accused a Mexican man of slashing their tires. The first thing I learned was that witnesses can rarely differentiate people of another race from each other. Add a healthy dollop of white supremacy and here we are
