I think if anything happens to them and they need rescuing … they should pay for it themselves. Also if anyone dies rescuing them, they should pay their pension. Unless they are trying to use this expedition for the good of society not for fun or just feeding their egos.

Seems like Everest is a test and it answers who’s insane, spoiled and lost. So much money ans lives wasted in the shallowest endeavors. Tell me you have no imagination or real ambition by climbing giant mountains. Some folks are easily impressed by the trendiest of things.
