for minecraft specifically, use minecraft.wiki! there was a load of drama with them trying to split from Fandom and yeah! use that and not Fandom (Fandom doesn't even update the minecraft wiki anymore really)

if youre on pc i also reccomend the indie wiki buddy extension! it automatically redirects to independent wikis or antifandom if you click on a fandom link!

a bunch of games are hosting their wiki’s on other platforms, ik stardew valley and minecraft do it but there’s lots of others too, always see if there’s an independent one first!!

I was the unofficial mod of a niche fandom and wrote a majority of the fan wiki entries after a huge hyperfixation binge, but what I found weird was how easy it was to change and add those articles
