There’s a video on the Hiroshima survivors called “the walking ants of Hiroshima” or something like that. Survivors were so physically dehydrated, burned, and disoriented that they’d walk around like zombies in search of water, even drinking black tar, with missing limbs or dead children.

when i was in Japan with my parents a few weeks ago we went to the memorial Museum in Hiroshima and when i tell y'all, i've never experienced a Visitor crowd as quiet and disturbed as in that Museum. i've never experienced a Museum where Noone Was talking and everyone was sobbing their eyes out. dang, the paintings, drawings, stories and pictures were so disturbing, i also couldn't help but sob out a few times, and i rarely cry. still, Till this day, that Visit changed my perspective on life. there was one picture of a human shadow etched Onto a Stone stairway, since that Person that had waited for a train that day had been burned in 0.2 seconds.
