Senegal is a country of incredible beauty. The people, the culture, the food, the smells(the perfume that Senegalese women wear had me in a chokehold until I found out what it was called), the music, the aesthetic. I literally tear up everytime I hear birima cuz it reminds me of Senegal ♥️

Vacationing in Senegal is like freedom, as a solo traveller woman I only go to Africa I feel safer there. Especially in Senegal, as a haitian-senegalese born in France, I feel like Dakar is home.

Hi beautiful! ❤️I’m Cape Verdean which is the island next to Senegal. 🇸🇳 the flight is only 1 hour away. When I go to Senegal I literally say the same thing! I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders and I feel at HOME 😩 Senegal’s peaceful atmosphere needs to be studied

That’s where your ancestors are from, plus you ARE Senegalese. I feel this way when I go back to Trinidad and Tobago, where my family is from. Totally get it. Senegal is beautiful though. The food, the people, the country. Enjoy yourself, N’challah 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
