As a Polynesian with Samoan and Hawaiian roots who dances ori Tahiti, Siva Samoa and who first learned hula I hope to see more of our Polynesian people represent more and show the world how the dances are properly done so it doesn’t get lost in translation and the importance each dance holds. More than dance this is a whole culture being represented.
