Saw a recruiting ad the other day that felt so nefarious. The entire cast consisted of POC and the focus was on job training and financial security. I know this is a go-to tactic, but to specifically and very publicly target people who historically have not had a lot of access to job training and financial security just felt especially evil.

literally an army recruiter told me. "in basic training we break you down so that we can build you back up in the armies image" basically stripping you of your personality to insert their desired outcome of blind compliance
