All of their debating boils down to, do you accept Jesus or not. And all these kids want is to HEAR that they don't have to accept Jesus and keep moral high ground. What they fail to see is that Jesus is the moral high ground.

Literally everything Peterson says is so vague, but also so precise in his own arbitrary definitions that you can never win an argument with him because he'll just say "we have a fundamental disagreement on God and what athiests and Christians believe".

oh my gosh stop allowing him to go so far off topic. stop pulling back on this guy. this isn’t a real debate. why are we pretending this guy knows anything of depth. peterson knows a little about a lot but not a lot about anything on this topic this is so infuriating to watch. stop validating this dude. on one clip he says many people of different faiths have thanked him for deepening their faith- that never happened. absurd

Believing Christ is God isn't Christian. That's a post-biblical human philosophical construct adopted centuries after the Bible was written. It's been referred to as Christian for 1,700 years. But Trinitarianism and it's offshoots including Oneness, etc are not, in fact, Christian

Even atheists in Weatern society are products of Christianity morality. It is entrenched in our culture. Even communism is an expression of this. And the objections atheists have to the Bible are based on Christian morality. Probably the biggest conflict today is the battle between this modern morality that is ultimately based on Christianity and religious texts. Think about it…. Oh and yes Christianity was itself a continuation of the morality of earlier cultures like Ancient Egypt, but evolved.

Our actions must align with our words, or there is imbalance. As we turn from our sin and walk towards God by the teachings of Christ we become more and more balanced. Leaving each sin behind in our journey as we are balanced and perfected in Christ. To be perfectly balanced is to be in communion with God what the orthodox call theosis. Now it is extremely difficult to achieve this, but Christ and God made it clear to us through the cross that because of the love proven by the sacrifice that we are given grace. That even in our imperfection we can enter paradise. Hell is reserved for those who do not try to achieve this, that mock those who are trying. For people that deny their faults claim they have none. For people that have no desire to be better. To an extent.

False Claim “…he doesn’t understand straightforward questions.” Correction: Peterson often challenges the assumptions behind questions. This isn’t confusion it’s his method of philosophical deconstruction, especially when the question is loaded (e.g., “Are you a Christian?” assumes a shared definition of ‘Christian’ which Peterson has previously rejected as overly simplistic).
