Ok I just watched the full run, if ur using a random weapon = deflecting hard tear, if u use the gold katana then perfect parries deal stance damage

i feel like people are underestimating how hard the parries will be when the enemies in elden rings don’t block your attacks and then do a predictable attack you can parry. Sekiro allows you to dictate the pace but elden ring doesn’t since enemies just hyper armor through

The combat in Sekiro is specifically designed around the deflecting system. Deflecting Hardtear and Executor are designed the other way around. So obviously it’s not going to be like Sekiro.

his ability is equipping a cursed blade that makes his roll into a small sidestep, his running into walking, but he can press L1 to parry. So will probably be a lot like sekiro
