In less than three months, I’ll finally be able to hold her in my arms, and oh my God, I think I’m going to cry and never want to let her go. But at the same time, I believe that day will heal everything inside me that’s ever been broken. I’ll always run to Katja first when I’m not doing well, because she’s never made me feel bad about it. She always listened and understood me like no one else ever did. And I know her life hasn’t been easy. Which is why I need her to know really know that I will always be here. To listen. To help.
