Not every eating issue is an eating disorder. Some are disordered patterns that still deserve attention! There’s a whole spectrum between a healthy relationship with food and a clinical diagnosis. Did you know 75% of women report engaging in disordered eating behaviors? That’s a staggering number, especially since DE is the number one predictor of developing an eating disorder, which is one of the deadliest mental health conditions. Still, the health and fitness industry often glorifies those same behaviors through fad diets, food guilt, and the idea that you have to earn or burn your meals. And despite what society tends to show, DE and ED impact women of all races and ethnicities and men are also vulnerable to this too!! Skipping meals, obsessing over “clean” eating, fearing certain foods, or tying your worth to what you eat? That’s not just quirky, it’s a sign! It’s why I constantly emphasize healthy eating behaviors! You don’t have to wait for it to get bad enough to get help. Please reach out to me if you’d like to work on building a better relationship with food and your body or if you need guidance on where to go! #Dietitian #nutrition #nutritiontips #wellness #disorderedeating #edrecovery #NutritionExpert #healthcare #healthyeating #dietitiansoftiktok #dietitiantips #healthyliving #wellnessjourney #wellnesstok #momtok #womenshealth #EDAwareness #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #mentalhealthmatters #exercisetips #Fitness #dietculture #dietculturedropout #rd #registereddieitian
