Absolutely - some companies have paid for a professional DM to lead a team building D&D game for their managers, too. Find those articles, point to them, and maybe even offer to do it for the managers!

i did this, and then i had a very awkward two hour interview where these boomers were trying to understand what it was i did and treating it like it was a joke because it’s “just games” ._.

I ran a 2hr game once a week for 3 coworkers. We would play during our lunch hour and then we had a team building through communication and problem solving meeting right after. Got paid extra for coordinating and running the meeting.

always add hobbies as well, jobs are great and show direct experience but don't show what you enjoy necessarily and what you are probably best at. people don't do hobbies because they have to, they do them because they enjoy them and it gives them energy. I always ask about this and if someone adds "reading and walking" or similar I tend to be very uninspired by them.

I put my management of a 475+ member guild in an MMO for 5+ years in my resume. Watching old men trying to understand how you can communicate to people digitally is ROUGH. no concept that people can communicate and run a full team without ever knowing their real names or face!
