Your theory might be true BECAUSE LEAKS for 3.4 renamed the bosses pollux is now CASTORICE. Nikador is now called MYDEIMOS. And aquila is HYACINTIA. Those will be the bosses when we go to the secondary cycle to meet CERYDRA, HYSILENS etc.

The second one might be Phainon/Khaslana. Hear me out first so we've seen how Phainon said he's from Aedes Elysiae, however we haven't seen any other survivors from Aedes Elysiae, sure there might've not been any survivors but it'd be unlikely there wouldn't be any survivors since we have outlander npcs who talk abt they also come from remote villages consumed by the Black Tide like Aedes Elysiae, and we also have the Flame Reaver who knows all the paths of the Grove when "he"'s not been there at all. So my guess is that Phainon js like Castorice, was from the previous or another cycle of Amphoreus and Flame Reaver is a shadow of Phainon which was formed from the despair of the previous or other cycles' Phainons and saw this cycle and saw himself, Phainon, being an important Chrysos Heir and wants to be the one achieving the Era Nova as the other Phainons weren't able to.

This theory could also explain Phainon’s mysterious hometown. No one’s heard of it and it’s not on any map. It could have existed in the other cycle but not in “ours.”

theories like this are really cool and interesting but i hardly doubt that hyv would give any special lore for mydei aside from the one that he got in the current cycle. they're notorious for not giving any depths to the male characters unless they're from hi3😔

yeah when Mydei came back to Castrum Kremnos at the end of 3.1 he said that he had those vivid dreams about his mother and from that memory in nether realm when he met the ghost of Gorgo, she was saying how she didn't learned him be weak, Mydei responds "Mother but we never met". Also when he was going up to his throne he was constantly glitching through present and "fantasy" but maybe it was present time of his life from the other side? ahhh i want him to come back 😞😞

In this theory the Flame Reaver could be from the other cycle, possibly where (SPOILER) Cipher didn't pull her stunt so everything went to shit 700 years ago so now that Phainon's been wandering for a long time to reset the cycle somehow
