Dana white was s a POS. Every UFC fighter should have a base pay of $100k plus fight bonus and other perks. Just to be in the UFC you have beat the best of the best out their. Imagine doing all that and making 50 grand a year unless you become a champion. The NFL/ NBA has a base pay of 500k-700k. Even wwe pays atleast $250k and its just drama fight

What some of these guys get paid per fight is double what most Americans make in a year after taxes I don’t blame Dana for not paying them more look what that has done for the nfl and nba mlb ect. Their paying guys millions a year to run on a field or court

I love how Dana said they stopped putting sponsor on shorts to prevent this sport from looking like nascar….now the mat looks worse then any fighters shorts from back in the day 😂😭

What people sadly don’t realize is this is not a career. Meaning many other sports done at the highest level which require the same level of time commitment will not pay you at all (not including sponsorship but rather prize money). Essentially, you MUST work a job until you are so good/ attract such large crowds that you can become a “pro” unlike boxing where purses are immediately larger and being a professional is thought of as a full time job.
