There was a Libyan man named Amer who was traveling for Hajj. When he reached the airport, officials told him there were minor issues with his passport, but they assured him they would try to resolve them quickly. While everyone boarded the plane, Amer remained at the airport, waiting. Eventually, the captain announced that it was time to depart, and the plane took off without him. However, shortly after takeoff, the flight encountered technical issues and had to return to the airport. Amer begged to be allowed on the flight, but the captain refused to open the door. The flight departed again, but once more, it experienced engine trouble and had to land back at the airport. This time, the captain insisted that Amer board the plane, and he finally did. Thanks to this twist of events, Amer was able to make his Hajj trip. Throughout this ordeal, Amer never gave up. He stayed at the airport, trusting that he would make it to Hajj. He firmly believed, “If Allah wants me to go, no one can stop me.” And indeed, Allah’s will prevailed. Amer’s story beautifully reminds us that when Allah has destined something for you, no obstacle can prevent it. You must have unwavering trust in Allah’s plan, just as Amer did.
