I have always wondered why people would go tooth and nail to defend capitalism, a system that is not interested towards the well being of other fellow humans, they would defend it even when they are deep in debts , mortgage even they are at the brink of being homeless, I never get that but I think is the propaganda effects working within them

An old schoolfriend's dad passed away recently. At the funeral I found out more about his very eventful life. In 1958 he immigrated to USA and in 1962 he was drafted into the US Army, fortunately he had expertise in phoneline installation working for bell telephone and was deployed doing comms for army bases in the US itself rather than being sent to Vietnam. He counted himself very lucky to have avoided that fate. He left the US Army in 1966 and eventually returned to Ireland.

why else does the US have military bases all over the world.. if any other country did that they would overthrow them without a second thought... China is the sleeping dragon when it wakes up... too late for the US..
