@royce_renovations: This weekend we had a water leak in the basement of our rental property. This copper pipe had another pinhole leak. To fix this I simply used SharkBite Max Couplers and some SharkBite PEX. Cars don’t last forever clothes don’t last forever and unfortunately neither do plumbing systems. Material quality has gone down throughout all industries unfortunately. And sometimes installation issues arise as well.

Because no plumber used dielectric fittings when installing metallic pipes and corrosion was always present. I like living in the age of PEX
