@theadventureaddicts: my ultra-comfy sleep setup👇🏼 Okay I have spent MANY NIGHTS lying awake in a tent while Kelby is passed out and I just contemplate all my life choices. I naturally do not sleep very well in a tent (Kelby says he gets the best sleep of his life… how lucky… 😅) so here is what I’ve learned. SLEEP SYSTEM: A good sleep system can really help regulate temperature and determines if your back is going to be aching in the morning. I use: • @Nemoequipment tensor sleeping pad. SO COMFY and durable!! Have only had one get a hole once in 3 years and it’s easy to patch. • @Sea to Summit sleeping pad coupler (makes a double pad out of two singles) • @EnlightenedEquipment revelation sleeping quilts: great for regulating temperature because you can close it all up like a sleeping pad or sleep with it like a blanket if it’s warm. • exped mega pillow OTHER ITEMS THAT HELP: • @seatosummit eye mask • ear plugs • magnesium • a book/downloaded podcast to read or listen to while I’m falling asleep. Really helps to calm my mind down I also reaaaaaally try to not drink much water after dinner or else I will pee and I HATE getting up to pee.
