To be fair @Alan fans do want better dances over tiktoks. We would rather see good dances and fewer tiktoks than an overkill of tiktoks during the season where the celeb isn’t that great or doesn’t genuinely show respect ballroom dance or just takes it all as a joke searching for votes and likes. It was alot last season and the show continues because of the art of ballroom. Social media can be great to help but there’s a limit to that. It starts to feel forced or inauthentic on the season. Ilona only got “praised” for it bc she didn’t publicly respect that you were in a relationship and told people to ship you with her so people were praising the idea of a relationship and said whatever to try to hype you two as a “couple” but not dance related…. Don’t confuse that for each partnership bc really people shouldn’t be supporting you as a pro based on searching for a ship mentality with your celebs
