This happened to my parents and I on the way back from vacation last year. The flight was delayed and delayed and then cancelled. My mom was absolutely shocked that I was completely chill about the situation and then I told her I had taken a 40 mg edible in preparation for flying and she was less surprised.

Weather can cause wild delays. It took me 3 days to get to Seattle a couple of years ago because weather was bad all over the country. And this can happen on any airline.

My United person was LIVID that I needed a wheelchair to get through the airport and she needed to leave the desk to get me one. We also had to rebook and went Delta.

Apparently there were insane delays in Denver that caused cascading issues across the country. I would recommend using the app Flighty. It gives the most updated flight info faster than United.

yeah… delta cancelled my international trip a couple weeks ago. got stuck on a flight 24 hours later. 72 hour trip got cut to a 48 hour trip 😭🙃 airlines are garbage
