sl takes Introduction, mc, Antagonists, pacing, overall fights, best fight, peaks, best episode, and best season. and I'd give frieren deuteragonist, side characters, story/plot, philosophy/message, cinematography, animation, parallels, I don't remember exactly what frierens conclusion was but it probably takes that too cause there was definitely a better point sl could've ended the season on imo. Pacing is also debatable actually because sl definitely felt rushed at points but frieren also had a couple really slow eps. overall both are great but for me personally, sl was better but I'm not gonna argue if you think otherwise since I do have frieren a lot lower than others since a couple of the episodes really brought down my enjoyment of the show for me. I definitely need to rewatch it at some point. I don't hate the show or anything, I gave it an 8/10, I just found 2 or 3 eps bad and it brought down the shows enjoyment for me a bit
