@thecagedbat: TikTok I need your help!!!! Tattoo artist recommended reaching out to my doctor but seemed clueless. I’m not going to get a response from my dr because it’s Memorial Day. #tattoo #tattootok #bodymods #fyp #fypシ #trending #viral
Is it hot? Is it draining? Have you had colored tattoos before?

Definitely put some aquaphor on it after the soap. I had one on my ribs that got angry like that and it cleared up pretty quick with the dial and aquaphor. Make sure you’re scrubbing your hands before you wash your tattoo ♥️

wash with a different odorless soap (i have allergies to dial and dial may contain things that trigger skin allergies as my brother also has a sllergy) also dab try with a clean towel lightly. apply aquaphor after each wash. if problem worsens or persists im not sure what else to do except talking to a doctor or your tattoo artist

My last tattoo was in the same area and did the same thing. I was so freaked out 😅 it turned out I’m just really sensitive in that area or might have a slight allergic reaction to the ink that artist used. I drew a line around the red and watched to see if it spread past the line. Good luck, I hope it isn’t infected

go to a doctor and get antibiotics. I saw this happen to a friend and it pitted her skin from the infection.

Red ink tends to have different effects on everyone and not every artist uses the same brand. It's also super inconsistent. This looks like it's a little top deep and overworked. My ankle had done something similar with the black and red. Contact your doctor, give it some time, and be extremely gentle with washing it. Chances are if you're sensitive or allergic to the ink your body could be trying to push it out. Try not to hold it so tight like that and let the muscle relax.

I had a tattoo flare up like this when I was allergic to the ink used. Hydrocortisone spray. Light, cooling, and it’ll negate the immune response.
