I’ve been sailing for 30 years, and it’s really hard to believe you are solo sailing a 51ft sailboat. I’ve never known anyone to solo a boat that large.

Good luck ! I recognise myself…when I was 20 I was diving, waterskiing. On 25 I had a Dehler 34 and sailed around Europe for more then 10 yrs . Now I’m 65, live in a house with 2 dogs reflecting on a wonderful life. Enjoy yourself when you’re young 🖖🖖🖖

Totally relate… I sold my home and bought an airstream and have gone solo travel and travel with my husband ever since. People who don’t understand taking risks and the payoffs always have the most to say about your choices.

No, sailing around the world solo is not new . I have a cousin from Canton Ohio also young college grad packed up bought a boat and sailed around the world solo 50 years ago ! Without Tik Tok
