It’s your bodies way of trying to protect you when you’re under extreme stress. Please do not fear it. With this mentality I beat it. Your body is trying to keep you ‘safe’ be kind to your mind. If you can master not fearing it and having compassion for yourself I promise you it changes everything 💕

It’s scary the first time it happens, for me I got extreme tunnel vision, frozen where I was, time felt strange, as soon as I came out of I went into a extreme panic attack

I wobble in and out of this at least once to five times a week and it's the most terrifying thing ever because I feel like I'm piloting my body at one point or I'm split half off of my body like a Venn diagram and then I swish back in the place. it's the most drawing experience and also food tastes different and colors get dull or vibrant it's the strangest thing ever.

Experiencing it in your 30s is wild. You've had time to cope and sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror it hits really hard and I either cant believe I'm the person in the mirror, backseat realization, or everything feels fake. used to be scary but its much easier to cope with in adulthood imo.

I've only had DrPr and it is similar except it's Dr. Pepper and it activated my diabetes trap card.

It used to freak me out, but now I look at it like I am watching a really boring tv show based around my life.

I experience dpdr panic attacks at least once a week, they last 20-40 minutes at peak and can cycle into more. Nothing but medication helps. It's been life altering, and I'm always in anticipation of the next one (which sometimes triggers one)
