politicians are too old to understand the implications and importance of legislation on technology. most of them were alive before cellphones and color tvs. they do not know how to regulate this because they cant even program a vcr let alone use a computer.

Cyberdyne and Skynet were AI for the longest time. We were never going to have automaton, certainly not humanoid shaped ones. We are . . . built less optimal for machines to replicate. Its the ending of I, Robot without robots.
