As someone who has extremely dense hair you could not pay me to go on a vacation where I plan on getting in water with my natural hair out. One dip in a pool or ocean and I’ll be taken 4 hours to detangle. That ain’t freedom to me lol. Now I will wear it out if I’m going to a non water based trip like NYC, CHI, Texas

because our wash days take so long, there's no carefree esp for those of us with long hair. 2 options - go swim everyday with your hair out and then have a multi hour wash day....or spend time protecting your hair and then have minimal/ no aftercare

Absolutely not. If I'm going on vacation, I don't want to have to worry about doing my hair. I would literally be spending 2/3 hours shampooing/conditioning my hair after activities, morning care free about that.
